3RD Generation Jeweler
"I believe that nothing should stand in the way of your sparkle." I grew up in my mom's jewelry store on the central coast of California. I fell in love with the craft of using exotic gemstones and precious metals to make jewelry from scratch. After later opening 3 jewelry stores of my own, I found myself constantly being asked how to properly care for various types of jewelry. "Don't put opals or emeralds in the ultrasonic cleaner", silver dips are toxic and can ruin pearls, opal, turquoise, etc...." and "avoid jewelry cleaners that contain ammonia", and on and on... I asked myself why there wasn't an effective jewelry cleaner that could be used on all jewelry without the risk of damaging it. So I endeavoured to create a better jewelry cleaner. I employed the help of another chemist and was able to use my knowledge of precious metals and gems as well as my training in biology and chemistry to develop a new way to clean jewelry...and Lavish was born.

Jewelers for Children was founded in 1999 by the U.S. jewelry industry with the mission of helping children in need. Since its inception, JFC has donated nearly $ 57 million to programs benefiting children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse, or neglect through our charity partners St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, Make-A-Wish® America, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the National CASA Association and the Organization for Autism Research. JFC also provides support to the Make-A-Wish® International and the Santa-America Fund.
